Rising British country crossover sensation Twinnie has had a tough week, like musicians across the globe she has been forced to postpone a tour due to the Cornovirus (Covid-19) pandemic and will miss out on touring the country this month.
Of course, the health and well being of the public always has to come first but that does not mean that these cancelations and postponements of live events are not going to have a long term detrimental effect on the industry and will hit artists in the pocket extremely hard.
But it’s not all doom and gloom as many singers are still performing for fans via live-streams as they look to keep the music playing for their loyal listeners during this time of uncertainty across the globe, and we still have new releases to celebrate from our favourite artists.
In fact this Friday, Twinnie will bounce back from the disappointment of her first headlining tour being scrapped for the foreseeable in a bid to put the health and safety of her fans first with the release of her brand new single ‘I Love You Now Change’.
The track is the latest single to be officially lifted off her forthcoming debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which drops on Friday, April 17th via BMG Records and is available to pre-order now from twinnieofficial.com – new merch will also be available to purchase soon in celebration of the LP.
Speaking about the new single and tour cancellation, Twinnie said: “New Music This Friday?? Just wanted to say thank you for all your messages of love and support yesterday. Tonight would have been the first night of my first ever headline tour! I was so excited to play for you all but your health and safety are much more important to me. On a positive note my debut album “HOLLYWOOD GYSPY” comes out a month today 17th of April 2020 which is available for pre-order now. I’m so unbelievably excited and nervous for you all to hear it. My next single I LOVE YOU NOW CHANGE is dropping this Friday!! I wrote it with two of favourite people Jack McManus and Emily Falvey. No one could have predicted what is happening in the world right now but I hope you’re staying safe, washing those hands!! I’m sending you lots of love!!!”
