Fresh from wrapping-up the UK leg of their sold out Cartwheels tour, Ward Thomas have now announced they will be releasing a new music video for the single version of ‘Cartwheels’ soon.
The song which is out now has played a very special part in the girls’ musical journey over the past year or so, with it being the very first track they wrote for their second album of the same name and was the reason they named the album after the beautiful song.
The ‘Cartwheels‘ LP was released in September of this year and was a massive success topping the UK album chart making them the first ever British country singers to do so.
The new single version of the stunning track about doing everything you can to save a relationship that deep down you know is over, also includes a sublime cover of Lenny Kravitz’s hit release ‘Fly Away’.
Ward Thomas, who are made up of 22-year-old twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy announced the news of the upcoming music video for ‘Cartwheels’ today on Twitter, with the exciting caption: “Cartwheels music video… coming soon…” (sic)
