Ward Thomas made history back in 2016 when their sophomore album ‘Cartwheels’ debuted at Number 1 on The Official UK Album Chart making them the first ever Country act to score a number 1 LP on the British charts.
Now, two years later twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy AKA Ward Thomas are gearing up for the release of their third studio album which is set to drop later this year with a new single set to be released in the very near future.

The duo have been hard at work in the recording studio for the past year working on the follow up to the hugely successful ‘Cartwheels‘ which followed their UK Country number 1 debut ‘From Where We Stand‘ and have so far premiered eight tracks during live shows across the country.
So far, we have heard ‘No Filter’, ‘Lie Like Me’, ‘I Believe In You’, ‘Breathe In’, ‘It’s Not Just Me’, ‘Same Love’, ‘One More Goodbye’, and ‘Our Own Song’ which features US country music sensation Sarah Darling. All the new tracks are a major step up both lyrically and production wise and really showcase Ward Thomas’ immense talent of making huge country songs with major mainstream crossover appeal.
Anyone who buys a new album and then presses “shuffle” should have the album confiscated! Deciding the order of songs has proven a very difficult and long process!

And now it looks like the new record is inching ever closer as the sisters have announced a “very special intimate performance” at the Omeara venue in London on July 16th. The new concert is set to be a showcase of new music and could even be doubling up as an official album launch.
