It’s all go for the Queens of UK country music Ward Thomas. The British duo made up of Hampshire born 22-year-old twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy, are gearing up for the start of their 22-date UK tour next month, and are also getting ready for a year full of key festival dates including a special performance at this years C2C (Country to Country) Festival next Friday.
And now Ward Thomas who yesterday shot the official music video for their upcoming single, the fifth track to be lifted off their number 1 record breaking album ‘Cartwheels‘, have hinted at a release of a special covers EP.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph Lizzy spoke about possible future release confirming that she and her twin sister Catherine have been in the recording studio working on new materiel and also recording a selection of covers. Lizzy said: “they’ll [the cover tracks] be on a covers EP or something. It’s great being able to play around with songs we love”.
