Ward Thomas are the fastest rising UK Country-Pop music duo and their third studio album ‘Restless Minds’ was scheduled for release on Friday, October 5th. But last month it was confirmed that the LP will now be released on Friday, February 1st, 2019.
However, October 5th turned out to be a hugely exciting day for fans of the record making duo from Hampshire. The twin sisters released their brand new single ‘Never Know’ giving listeners another taste of what is to come from their eagerly anticipated record, and also announced plans of an extensive 2019 UK tour.
The new single, is a pop infused anthem which Ward Thomas claim is their “ranty song”. It’s for all those people who have felt rejected at some point in their lives.
The track was written by Catherine and Lizzy alongside Rebekah Powell and Jessica Sharman and produced by Joe Rubel and is an empowering, arms-aloft pop infused anthem which is fast becoming a massive fan favourite.
Speaking about their new release, Ward Thomas say: “Never Know” is a song we have always wanted to write. It’s for anyone who has been rejected in a friendship, relationship or in work. But out of that rejection comes empowerment and a sense of freedom and release which gives you the courage to do what you believe in and be yourself.
Alongside premiering their empowering new single, the homegrown country act have also announced a string of 2019 tour dates with pre-sale tickets available from Wednesday and general sale this Friday.
