Fresh from the release of their pop infused hit ‘Lie Like Me‘, British country music duo Ward Thomas have shared the second official release off their upcoming third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘. The new track is the folk inspired ‘I Believe In You‘ which has been a fan favourite since the twins performed it during a string of live dates over the past several months.
The track is all about supporting peoples dreams,and pushing for their success. With lyrics such as “all of this work and your curtains are sure to rise” it will no doubt strike a chord with listeners who are currently in the pursuit of following their own dream career path.
It’s a totally brilliant folk infused, country hit with a massive sing-a-long chorus and catchy lyrics that get stuck in your head after just one listen. The song gets a huge reaction whenever played live by Ward Thomas, and it’s always a fun moment in the set when Catherine and Lizzy split the crowd down the middle to take part in a sing off with everyone belting out “you’re on your way, yeah you’re”.
It’s also a great release as it showcases the different vibes and musical styles we can expect from ‘Restless Minds’ when it drops on October 5th. There is an evident country theme but fans can also expect to hear pop, and folk influences throughout the record.
