Ward Thomas are the most exciting Country act in the UK at the moment. Back in 2016 they made chart history by becoming the first ever British Country act to score a number 1 album when their sophomore LP ‘Cartwheels’ debuted in the top spot of The Official UK Album Chart.
Now, two years on twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy are gearing up for the release of their much anticipated third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘. The new record is their most honest body of work to date and focuses on themes such as mental health, women’s rights, and social media. It will no doubt strike a chord with the Millenial generation in particular. The LP is scheduled for a February 1st, 2019 release.
And, a UK tour announcement in support of the album is imminent, while Ward Thomas will also be sharing a new single off ‘Restless Minds’ at the end of the month.
But before fans get new music, the duo have shared a BTS video for their latest single ‘Lie Like Me’. This track is the lead release off ‘Restless Minds’ and focuses on social media and the pitfalls we can sometimes fall into while using these platforms.
It’s a massive pop infused track that showcases Ward Thomas’ lyrical talents and highlights their massive musical growth.
