US singer Ari B returns with a new music video for her latest single ‘Dance Into The Party’. The clip was directed by famed director Wayne Isham who has worked with a number of the biggest artists in the world including the likes of Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Madonna, and NSYNC.
Speaking about working with Isham, Ari said: “On set, he was very enthusiastic and was so involved when working with everybody who was there – it sort of stuck with me that whenever he complimented me, he made sure that I took it and understood it – everything that comes out of his mouth is with purpose, and he wants to make sure his words come across, always. Such a genuine, intelligent, nice guy.”
The whole video treatment was thought up by Ari B, and the rising star was also heavily involved in all aspects of the music video including choreography, and the back-up dancer auditions. The clip is based loosely on West Side Story and features two groups of dancers dancing against each-other.
In the opening segments of the video we see the Red and Black teams warming up on either side of the building. The lead dancer from the Red group then comes into Ari B’s studio and challenges her to dance-off. We then go outside where the Red V Black dance-off is becoming intense and thoughtful. At the end of the clip the two dance teams realise they have more in common than they first thought and can now see beyond their differences. The glass is then broken-in the final scene, and Ari is leading her dance group into the Red room. Together the groups of dancers unite to form one large dance troop.
