Greek multi-talent and CelebMix favorite Xenia Ghali is back with a brand new release. After hitting it big-time with her singles “Under These Lights” and “Places” on the Billboard Dance Club Songs Charts, the DJane is now ready to take the crown once again with her latest offering. To underline this intention, she has just released an accompanying video.
Summery song “Lay In Your Arms”, released at the end of last year, chased away the winter blues for us so we were more than happy when we heard that it received a visual treatment.
The video was directed by Natalia Bougadellis and sees the singer wandering through the Big Apple, trying to rekindle her love with her long-lost partner. Questioningly, she keeps revisiting all of the places she used to make great memories with her loved one at. Now, she only sees masked faces staring back at her. The video is intertwined with flashbacks to her happy life with her partner and leaves the viewer wondering how the story might end: Will she find her love in between the anonymous faces? You have to watch the full video in order to find out.
“Lay in Your Arms” is a beautifully shot video that pulled us in right from the start and leaves us wishing for our own little adventure (with a possible happy ending) in New York.
