Teen Wolf Wraps Filming for the Series’ Final Season

The end of Teen Wolf is fast approaching with the final season, 6B, set to air this summer. March 10th was the final day of filming for the series, which also happened to be for the 100th and final episode. After almost 6 years of Teen Wolf, it was an emotional time for the actors, crew members, and fans alike.

The cast celebrated with a party featuring a huge Teen Wolf themed cake created by HelenaWirthCakes. The masterpiece paid tribute to some of our favourite things from the show- including a recreation of Stiles’ infamous blue Jeep, a forest with wolves, and even the smallest details like claw marks and Derek Hale’s tattoo. Tyler Posey made a touching speech before cutting into the cake.

Cast members Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Hennig, Khylin Rhambo, Melissa Ponzio, Ryan Kelley, Susan Walters, Linden Ashby, Gideon Emery, Ian Bohen, Sibongile Mlambo, Froy Gutierrez, Andrew Matarazzo, and Jeff Davis all attended the wrap party. The last two actors to film a scene were Tyler Posey and Holland Roden, who play Scott McCall and Lydia Martin. They are two of the few remaining original cast members.

As for Season 6B, there may still be some surprises to look forward to. The season will open with Scott trying to leave Beacon Hills to attend college, before the supernatural reels him back yet again. Along with the introduction of intimidating new werewolf hunters and a villain called “The Faceless”, there have been plenty of rumours floating around about old characters returning for the finale.

Writer and executive producer Jeff Davis said: “There should be an announcement or two coming relatively soon about 6B and who will be returning for our final episodes. More familiar faces than you might expect.” You never know what other twists and turns are in store for the epic conclusion.

The final 10 episodes of Teen Wolf will air this summer on MTV.
