Adele is continuing to show why she is the Queen of the music industry.
32 weeks after the release of her third album ‘25′, it has been certified 10x platinum in the UK. BPI reported that the last album to reach this milestone was by none other than Adele herself with ’21’ in 2011.
’25’ has produced three BPI certified singles, with Hello being 2x Platinum, When We Were Young reaching Gold and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) becoming Silver.
While dominating the charts, she has also joined an exclusive club by reaching this milestone. ’25’ has become one of seven albums released in the 21st Century to become 10x platinum in the UK.
So, two 10x platinum albums, three double platinum singles and over 10 million albums sales in the UK alone? Bow down to Queen Adele!
