Aly & AJ Unveil Star Studded ‘Star Maps’ Video Ahead Of July European Tour

In May sister duo and former Disney Channel stars, Aly & AJ released their synth-pop vibed EP Sanctuary. Ahead of their European tour which kicks off in a matter of weeks, they’ve released a star-studded video for track Star Maps.

The cabaret-themed video sees Aly & AJ getting the likes of Brenda Song (The Social Network, New Girl), Willam Belli (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Emma Kenney (Shameless, The Conners) and Mariah Balenciaga (RuPaul’s Drag Race) on board. Despite this line-up, the duo remains the stars of the show as they perform their catchy electro-undertoned track gradually growing in confidence as the video progresses.

Aly & AJ have previously explained this powerful track was written about Hollywood’s #MeToo movement, giving a voice to the victims and going against the patriarchy. The great thing about Star Maps is it’s open to interpretation, but one thing which we can all agree on is how incredibly powerful this track is.
