Be A Part of The Kindred Foundation for Adoption’s Gala

The Kindred Foundation for Adoption is hosting its first annual Gala, BREAKING BOUNDARIES at the Highline Ballroom in New York City on April 5th, 2016.

Kindred: The Foundation for Adoption is an American foundation created by actresses and adoptees Samantha Futerman and Jenna Ushkowitz. In 2013, Samantha Futerman and Anaïs Bordier discovered that they were identical twin sisters separated at birth. When their story got attention, the two heard countless stories about the positive and negative experiences of fellow adoptees. Samantha wanted to use her new insight to aid adoptees and their families in a myriad of situations. She then reached out to fellow Korean American adoptee, and childhood friend, Jenna Ushkowitz for help.

The BREAKING BOUNDARIES gala will focus on developing socio-emotional support for the adoption community. They will honour pastor Hank Fortener, who is an acclaimed speaker and founder of AdoptTogether and World Adoption Day. There will also be musical performances by Kristin Chenoweth and other surprise guests. The celebrity host committee will consist of Jessica Stam, Hank Fortener, Courtney Galiano, Hunter Parrish, Kayla Ewell and Cheyenne Jackson.

The gala will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM (EDT). Tickets cost between $368.45 and $10,307.95.
