To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Becky G went on Twitter for a Q&A session with her fans. She answered questions about her music, her role in the new Power Rangers movie, and about being a Latina.
One fan asked, “What do you think is the biggest challenge facing Latinos in the US right now?”
“I think the biggest challenge facing Latinos in the U.S. right now is deportation and lack of respect. I think our hard work, our dedication, what we bring to this country, our unity is overlooked a lot of the time and I think we need to make a change about that.”

Becky G also talked about her new song, “Sola.” The song is meant to remind women that they are “more than enough” and “can do just fine on their own.”

She then went on to discuss her role in the upcoming Power Rangers film. She said that preparing for the role took a long time and it was “definitely by far one of the hardest things that I’ve had to do.” However, she feels that all the hard work payed off when she saw the final product and is excited for her fans to see the movie as well.
