The conflict continues in the new trailer for Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” which releases in theatres May 6th.
The trailer dropped today and left Marvel fans in a frenzy. It features most of Marvel’s much loved Avengers fighting it out over a system of accountability and a governing body. As featured in the previous trailer, there’s two main teams: Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. The two characters seem to have two different opinions on the situation which promptly causes a divide.Captain America (played by Chris Evans) acts as the leader of a faction of Avengers against regulation. They are against the accountability Act. His team consists of Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), his best friend and war partner, Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Cap’ is trying to protect Bucky from the Government hit squad, which brings him into conflict with co-Avenger, Tony Stark.
Iron Man’s team (played by Robert Downey Jr), are the faction of Avengers in support of regulation. They are for the act. His team features, Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vision (Paul Bettany). The trailer features some pretty heavy fight scenes, such as Bucky vs Black Panther aswell as others, but one familar face in a red and blue suit makes an appearance at the end of the trailer.
That’s right, Spider-Man, now played by Tom Holland, has made his first appearance in this role. The 19-year-old actor was announced to play the part last year which left fans speculating on what he would bring to the part, but just from the small clip, it’s left everyone anticipating his role even more.
