Charlie Puth released his debut studio album Nine Track Mind at the beginning of this year, featuring singles ‘Marvin Gaye’, ‘One Call Away’ and ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’. One of the fan favourite album tracks however, was ‘Dangerously’, a passionate ballad which Charlie defines as “loving someone to the utmost amount, but taking it to a ridiculous level.”
Last month, Charlie told The Weekender that a video for the song was on its way. “We filmed a video for ‘Dangerously’ just as like a fan thank you,” he revealed. “You know, thanks for this amazing life-changing year; here’s a really cool video for a very popular song on the album.”
Just a short while ago, Charlie finally dropped the official music video for ‘Dangerously’ with no warning, to the surprise, happiness and excitement of his fans.
The video echoes the intensity and passion that Charlie delivers throughout the vocal of the song. We see him smashing a mirror and dodging flaming arrows, as well as several shots of Charlie signing to the camera, putting his emotions in the spotlight. We’re glad to see that Charlie has given ‘Dangerously’ the attention it deserves – it is definitely an album highlight.
Sadly, Charlie recently had to cancel the remainder of his Don’t Talk Tour due to sickness. He has been non-stop during 2016, spending most of this year on the road. However, on October 7, Charlie cancelled his Raleigh show due to flu. He was back on the road a few days later, but he clearly hadn’t had enough time to recover.

We hope Charlie takes all the time he needs to recover, and for the time being we’ll be watching ‘Dangerously’ on repeat!
