Demi Lovato has dropped the highly anticipated music video for ‘Tell Me You Love Me’. We’re warning you now, you’re going to need a tissue at the ready as it’s an emotional one.
The songstress has been busy teasing the video all week after pictures of her filming in a wedding dress surfaced online. On Monday, she posted a wedding invitation on Twitter and has since ramped up the excitement by sharing little snippets and pictures of the visual online.

At 10am ET, the wait was finally over as Demi dropped the emotionally charged mini-movie. Directed by Mark Pellington, the visual stars Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams as Demi’s love interest. The first few minutes focuses on the couple’s relationship, documenting the good times including the proposal, before jealousy and arguments take over.
In turn, ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ kicks in and we see glimpses of the beautiful wedding ceremony. However, as the couple prepare to tie the knot in front of their friends and family, Jesse turns round and says that he’s not ready for marriage and jilts poor Demi at the altar.

Speaking in a statement which accompanied the video, Demi said: “This song is one of my favorites which is why I named my album after it. I not only love singing it but I think the underlying meaning is important for people to know. At the end of the day you have everything you need standing right in front of you. And that’s yourself.”
“Shooting this video was really fun too! We had a full on wedding and my best friends were even my bridesmaids and groomsmen. The locations were absolutely beautiful. It was perfect and I’m so excited to show everyone!”
In addition to releasing the ‘Tell You Me Love Me’ video, Demi also recently dropped a new collaboration with Luis Fonsi called ‘Échame La Culpa’.
