Demi Lovato has released the ’emo version’ of her latest solo single ‘I Love Me’, featuring Blink 182 star Travis Barker.
Armed with electrifying drums and guitars, ‘I Love Me’ has been transformed from a sassy offering to an angsty anthem which packs a punch. Channeling a late 2000s sound, old school Demi fans are bound to vibe with this version, whilst it also shows newer fans just how versatile she can be with her music.

The original version of ‘I Love Me’ dropped back in March, accompanied by an empowering music video full of Easter eggs from her life and career to date.
In addition to teaming up with Travis for an ‘I Love Me’ remix, Demi also recently collaborated with her good friend Sam Smith on the sensational ‘I’m Ready’. The pair accompanied the song with a striking Olympic themed visual whilst a behind the scenes video was recently unveiled on YouTube, detailing the inspiration behind it.
On the subject of collaborations, Demi also delighted fans by joining Tori Kelly on Instagram Live earlier this week. The pair performed an a cappella version of Demi’s hit ‘Stone Cold’ whilst also revealing that they’d love to collaborate on a song in the future.
Speaking during the Live, Demi said: “You are one of the best vocalists in this generation and it would be just an honor to do something with you, so we got it…Scooter, hello!”
Tori, who like Demi is managed by Scooter Braun, said “Yes, I feel the same, I feel the same. I’m so down.”
‘I Love Me’ (emo version) is out now.
