US born country music singer/songwriter Denny Strickland is back with a brand new single ‘We Don’t Sleep’.
Denny Strickland is a singer that manages to achieve a beautiful blend of assertion with sensitivity that many male artists try to pursue but fail to achieve. He has a very distinctive tone which is even more evident on his new single. The song is one of the first to be taken off his yet to be released debut debut album.
Strickland describes himself as “a romantic committed to touching every heart I can reach,”. And he certainly achieves that. But his message is not just a general one. It is both relate-able and personal to the listener regardless whether you are the actual focus of the track or not.
Every single note, and lyric comes from a pure place in Denny Strickland’s hear. Speaking about the new songs on his upcoming album, he says: “My feelings are very real. That makes these new songs the truest I’ve ever written. You know, I get emotional when I sing. I wear my feelings on my chest. I probably get that from my mother, just as I learned about humility from my father. I think of myself as a happy medium between the two of them.”
