Emblem3 started its journey on X Factor. The band’s X Factor performances are still fresh in its fans’ minds. It seems that the performances are fresh even on the band’s mind.
Usually, it’s Throwback Thursday but for the band, it was Nostalgic Saturday. It shared a video of an Isreali couple singing the cover of Matisyahu’s “One Day” on its Facebook page.
The song was a last minute addition in Matisyahu’s popular album “Light” and it became the band’s choice as they sang the single during one of their X Factor performances in November 2012.
The couple sang the song beautifully but what made the video worth watching was their baby’s smile. Seeing their parents sing a song that gives hope in the war struck nation, the baby could only smile and we smiled along with it.
While the band’s performance was energetic, the couple gave the song a soulful touch. It won’t be wrong to say that the baby could enjoy it as a beautiful lullaby.
