Hot on the heels of their previous single ‘Stupid Things’ featuring Saweetie, rising girlband Four of Diamonds have struck gold with a new track which we’re already calling our favourite release of theirs.
‘Blind’, released via Virgin EMI Records, is a slick pop/RnB offering which sees Caroline, Sophia, Yasmin and Lauren open their eyes to their lovers’ deception. Four of Diamonds deliver the track with plenty of sass, serving captivating vocals along the way. ‘Blind’ packs a punch with its infectious chorus which will have you singing along in an instant.
“You know that I ain’t too blind to see it,
Too blind to see what you are doing
You look me dead in the eyes, told a thousand lies”
‘Blind’ was produced by Jonas Blue in addition to Tré Jean-Marie and Freedo. According to Genius, ‘Fine Line’ singer Mabel is credited as one of the track’s writers, and you can definitely hear her influence within the song.
Speaking about ‘Blind’, Four of Diamonds said: “The moment we heard the demo for ‘Blind’, we were all completely hooked. This song reflects Four Of Diamonds perfectly; it’s got super relatable lyrics and a really cool melody, we love the hook from the original Kym Sims record ’Too Blind To See’. ‘Blind’ is about how you can be so infatuated with someone that you’re completely oblivious to how they’ve treated you… we’ve all been there!”

‘Blind’ is the latest in a string of releases from Four of Diamonds this year, following on from ‘Stupid Things’ and ‘Name On It’ featuring Burna Boy. With each release, Caroline, Sophia, Yasmin and Lauren have proven to be one of pop’s most exciting gems and we have no doubt that they are ones to watch for 2019.
