A new season means that The Fosters will be meeting its 100-episode mark since the show first debuted in 2013. Starring Teri Polo and Sherri Saum, the two portray a lesbian couple raising a blended family full of adopted and biological teenagers in a seemingly quiet San Diego suburb.
Over the summer, the LGBT-themed series, executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, was the No. 1 scripted cable series in its time slot and among key adult and female demographics with a total of 7 million viewers. According to a Freeform press release, the series also finished as the No. 2 scripted basic cable series with women 18-49, just falling behind Pretty Little Liars.
Season four will resume with its winter premiere on Tuesday, January 31 at 8 p.m. ET. You can watch the dramatic promo below.
