Earlier today, Halsey and BTS debuted their collaboration for single, “Boy With Luv,” from the K-pop group’s latest album, Map of the Soul: Persona. Along with the single, the two also shared their music video, which has been gaining views at an impressive rate, with BTS fans pushing it to become the most-watched music video within a 24-hour period on YouTube.
Once the video dropped this morning, Halsey went on Twitter to share some details about the music video and her time working with BTS. One of the stories she shared was that she felt nervous performing choreography to “Boy With Luv,” since she’s never done choreography in a music video. During a radio interview with BTS. Jimin said he encouraged Halsey by telling her to watch him do the choreography, but RM hilariously shared that she was looking at the camera instead. Halsey tweeted that she looked at the camera because she was so nervous, but the members tried their best to comfort and support her.
Fans also noticed that in the music video, Halsey does a handshake with RM. While the video only features a small clip of it, the two’s handshake was actually much longer than that. She hopes to show fans the full gesture one day when she catches up with BTS.
The K-pop group is expected to perform their new single tomorrow on Saturday Night Live. It will be the first time they are to perform on the show. They are currently in the New York City area doing promotions.
