In 2016, Ultraviolets were ecstatic to hear that Hey Violet would once again be supporting 5 Seconds of Summer on their Sounds Live Feels Live tour. This was another chance for fans to see HV perform live! We couldn’t wait to hear the new setlist they had put together for us.
The world got a taste of them on the Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour after they were signed to 5SOS’ label, Hi or Hey Records. Fans were left impressed and wanting more due to their vibrant stage presence and upbeat songs!
Lucky for us, we finally get the chance to see them play a longer set, at a more intimate venue after Hey Violet announced their first headlining show of 2016!
The 4 piece is set to play at the Echoplex in LA on August 15th.
What songs might we hear at the Echoplex?
In July of 2015, the LA based Pop-Rock band released their ‘I Can Feel It’ EP. Ultraviolets fell in love with their harder hitting songs like ‘Smash Into You’ and ‘Can’t Take Back the Bullet’. However, their softer song, ‘Sparks Fly,’ emotionally touched the fans like no other.
Now, one year later, with new songs like ‘Makeup’ and ‘Guys My Age’ that we only get to hear live, we can’t wait to see what else Rena, Casey, Miranda, and Nia produced during their time off.
Ultraviolets around the world have been captivated by their unique sound. With Hey Violet headlining another show, this time in 2016, we can’t wait to see what else this band is planning.
