Here at CelebMix, we love nothing more than introducing our readers to up and coming, talented artists in the music industry. In this article, we introduce you to the incredible London-based singer Danny Wright.

The first step in his music journey was his founding of two bands, ‘DissolvedIN’ and ‘We Are Lost Boys.’ His first band ‘DissolvedIN’ supported several major artists and also played at festivals in the UK. His time in both musical projects made him recognise that embarking on a music career was something that he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Band ‘We Are Lost Boys’ was also a success and received a large amount of music industry backing. Following this, Danny made the decision to embark on a solo career, and went on to be involved in projects with respected artists such as Olly Murs and Tulisa Contostavlos. Such opportunities have given him the chance to broaden his musical horizons, while also developing his own sound.

When speaking about his passion for the music industry, Danny said:

‘I’m a passionate person that just wants the world to hear my songs, and I’m going to carry on writing until I have nothing left to write about!’

His new single ‘I Didn’t Like You (And I Really Mean It)’ was recently released. The single has a pop-rock sound to it, and the track is extremely catchy. Danny has described the track as an ‘Anti-Valentine’s anthem’ – we couldn’t have described it better!

Speaking about the track, which is extremely personal to Danny, he said that it helped him to overcome ‘music blocks’. It also changed his attitude towards music, whereby he said it made him ‘want to get stuff finished, get to work and get on with it.’

He also said that the track ‘is one of those songs that let’s you get out everything you wish you had said before and embrace the single life. You’re better off alone if it’s not with someone who encourages you rather than the opposite.’
