Lyrically speaking aloud his internal thoughts and inner-most truths, on Are You Even Real? Blake continues to explore the perils of human emotion, on his eternal search to find the true meaning of love; yearning for connection and clarity in a world where relationships seem to perish at the first sign of resistance.
Simply content to just be still, and finding peace by staying present in the moment, James delivers another killer vocal – his angelic and ethereal tone, soaring in unison with the tracks lush and heavenly string orchestration.
Produced and co-written by Blake along with with Starrah, Ali Tamposi and Peter Lee Johnson, and released as part of Apple’s global Behind The Mac Campaign, the track serves as the follow up to You’re Too Precious, James’ first new musical release since 2019’s Assume Form.
