John Legend has unveiled the title track from his forthcoming album Bigger Love.

Written by John along with Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton and Cautious Clay, ‘Bigger Love’ is an uplifting release from the artist which reminds us all of the many forms of love in the world.

Laced with a tropical vibe, ‘Bigger Love’ is a much needed anthem in the world, particularly during the current climate. Speaking about the track, John said: “This song is a celebration of love, resilience and hope.

“I wrote it last year, before any of us could have imagined what 2020 would become.  The message of the song is that love can help carry us through these dark times and music can bring us joy and inspiration.  I hope it brings some light to people’s day and maybe inspires a dance break!”

John is due to perform ‘Bigger Love’ during Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home digital event on Saturday (April 18). The event is in aid of the frontline healthcare workers and the World Health Organization during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

It will also be streamed live globally on Apple, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and more, with BBC One airing a replay of the show at 7pm Sunday. Click here for more information.

Global Citizen has also been putting on a number of #TogetherAtHome concerts with artists performing from the comfort of their home. John was one of the artists to broadcast a performance from their home, and his fabulous effort earned him the title of  Cybersmile’s “Cybersmiler of the Month” award.

John will also be performing ‘Bigger Love’ on Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort on April 22. Along with the likes of DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland and Chance The Rapper, the event is in partnership with the NAACP and United Way Worldwide with the aim of providing critical financial, educational and community support directly to African Americans hardest hit by Coronavirus crisis.

‘Bigger Love’ follows on from John’s recent releases including ‘Actions’ and ‘Conversations in the Dark’. They will all appear on his forthcoming album Bigger Love, which is due for release this summer.
