Last month, news broke that Taylor Lautner will join the cast of Fox’s hit TV show Scream Queens. Taylor will play Dr. Cassidy Cascade, who becomes a suspect of murders occurring in a hospital. A source tells HollywoodLife that Kristen Stewart and Taylor remain close friends. Kristen also revealed that she is a huge fan of the show and is extremely excited for her friend to star in the second season.
Kristen thinks that Taylor is a perfect fit for the show because he is “fun and quirky.” She is also planning a get-together with Taylor when the show premieres so they can catch up on each other’s lives.
Taylor Lautner is just one of the few new faces that will appear in the second season. John Stamos will also appear as Dr. Brock Holt. Emma Roberts, who plays Chanel Oberlin, recently teased that she will have a new love interest in season 2. When Emma appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, she talked about the addition of Stamos and Lautner to the cast. She said that one of them will be her new love interest.
While Taylor is busy with Scream Queens, Kristen is preparing for the release of her new film, Equals. The movie will release on July 15, and will also star Nicholas Hoult.
Season 2 of Scream Queens will premiere September 20 on Fox. We can’t wait to see the star-filled cast for season 2!
