During the 24 hour fusion round that finalized the results, James and Sharna were assigned a Viennese Waltz and Foxtrot. Len called James a terrific dancer, loving the chemistry between him and Sharna. He also wished he could dance like James, where Julianne wished she could dance with James. She thought the dance perfectly captured the couple’s relationship. Bruno called the professional race car driver a “class act.” Carrie Ann thought their routine was wonderful as usual. Calvin and Lindsay were given a Quickstep and Jive. Julianne thought it was the perfect fusion dance with so much content. She said there isn’t enough rhinestones in the world or on Calvin’s jacket that shine as bright as him. Bruno loved the routine, noting that Calvin makes everyone want to dance and Carrie Ann couldn’t agree more, pointing out that Calvin is your everyday man. Len called Calvin “chicken soup to the eyes.” The duo also got four perfect 10s from the judges.

Laurie and Val danced a Foxtrot and Argentine Tango. Bruno thought it was flawless, calling the performance “right on the money.” Carrie Ann declared the performance Laurie’s best dance ever and if she has a daughter, she wants her to be just like her. Len thought it was the perfect routine to close out a fantastic season. Julianne said it was anyone’s game, as every couple nailed it. Just like the previous two pairs, Laurie and Val too earned a 40/40 for their 24 hour fusion routine.
