Lennon Stella is best known for playing teenager Maddie Conrad on the hit US drama Nashville. But with the sixth and final season airing last week in the States (last episode this Friday in the UK) she is ready to take the world by storm with her own music.
During her six years on the series she has had a string of hits both as a soloist and alongside younger sister Maisy Stella who played Daphne Conrad. But she is now ready to step away from releasing tracks through the TV show and has signed to Sony as a solo act.
Her first single comes in the form of the hauntingly beautiful ‘Like Everybody Else’ which is a breathtaking piano ballad that showcases Lennon Stella’s stunning vocal range.
The 18-year-old is without doubt one of the best vocalists of our generation and a superior composer and songwriter to boot. She literally has the world at her talented feet.
‘Like Everybody Else’ is the first taste of what we can expect from Stella’s upcoming debut studio album and she has set the bar incredibly high. With soaring vocals and poignant lyrics such as “what made me think I was special, I’m not special. Turns out I’m like everybody else” it will no doubt strike a chord with listeners across the world.
Fans of Nashville will already be familiar with Lennon’s supreme vocal talents but this single will put her on the map as a vocal powerhouse.
