Little Mix have revealed that they will be joined by South London rapper Ms Banks during their upcoming BRIT Awards performance.
Taking to Twitter, the four-piece girlband teased their Mixers with how they could make their performance at the BRITs this year even more special, before asking Ms Banks if she was up for joining them on stage.
Ms Banks shared her delight on Instagram, saying: “I’m really performing w/ the biggest girl group in the world, gonna add a lil hood vibe.”
In a press release, Little Mix added: “Let’s do this! Can’t wait to team up with Ms Banks and bring some female British sass to the stage!”
The rapper also shared her excitement, stating: “Can’t wait to perform with the girls, I just love women who know what they want and aren’t afraid to go for it, their whole aura screams FIERCE!!!”
Ms Banks is best known for her Once Upon A Grind and The Coldest Winter Ever mixtapes, whilst she has also supported the likes of Wiley, Cardi B, Migos, and Nicki Minaj on tour.
Other performers on the night include Calvin Harris with Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag’n’Bone Man, Jess Glynne with H.E.R., The 1975, George Ezra, and Jorja Smith.
The BRITs 2019 will be hosted by Jack Whitehall, who returns for a second year. Speaking about returning to the stage, he said: “I’m slightly less nervous coming back to it – you have a better sense of what the night entails and how it runs. But it is still live television. Anything can happen, so you are stepping into the unknown every time.”
Teasing what we can expect on the night, Jack added: “I call myself the Beyonce Knowles of comedy so there will be as many costume changes as I can possibly fit in this year, and a lot of stage theatrics.”
