“All these songs for YOU, baby!”
Tinashe is back and she is better than ever before!
After releasing the two singles “Die A Little Bit and “Touch & Go” over the course of the last weeks, the R&B artist has gifted her fans with her full body of work today.
The record is titled “Songs For You” and marks her first project as an independent artist, following the separation from her longtime label RCA Records. Listening to it in full, the record feels as fresh and liberated as one might expect it to sound. One track at a time, Tinashe showcases over and over again the amount of talent she has in store: chill R&B vibes find place next to 80s-house, trap beats and the occasional sexy-smooth slow jam.
The range, it’s incredible, to be honest!
We can tell that the record is titled “Songs For You” for a reason: the 16 tracks featured on the album feel like a blessing to her fans. After years of being bound to the structures of a label, Tinashe could finally explore, dig deep into her creative repertoire and be herself again. It’s a gift to her fans for sticking by her side for so long and we are oh so grateful for it.
“Songs For You” features multiple collaborations, consisting of G-Eazy, 6LACK, Ms Banks and MAKJ, all of which enrich the tracks in their own ways.

Her fans were apparently just as excited about her return as she was and took her straight to number one on the official US iTunes charts:
“Secure your wigs, Tinashe is finally coming to take over the music landscape”, is all we have to add at this point.
“Songs For You” is available for purchase and streaming on the digital retailer and platform of your choice. It was released independently via Tinashe Music Inc.
