Lo is back once again, expanding her musical catalogue, with a more urban approach on latest single, ‘Mantra’
Here at CelebMix, we’re suckers for discovering new artists and earlier this year, we discovered the female badass D.I.Y musician, Lo. Upon discovering her second single ‘Drumline’, we just had to do an Artist 101 on Lo. Shortly after, Lo released yet another single, ‘Naked’ in August 2018 which brings us to now.
Working hard to perfect her craft, Lo is releasing bop after bop with back to back singles, ‘Mantra’ being her latest piece of work. It’s quite the U-turn in terms of musical direction for Lo, as it has a subtle hint of urban influence within the single’s production. Nevertheless, this is still Lo at her best and proving she is destined to be a musician.
You see, Lo isn’t just your average female pop star. She’s bending genres, gone are the days where artists have to rely on the approval of huge corporate record labels. You could just follow in the footsteps of Lo and do it all yourself – the writing, the production, the directing – all of it.
