Lorde has just revealed the tracklist for her upcoming sophomore album Melodrama. The album is set to release in less than one month, on June 16th. The singer-songwriter posted the official tracklist for Melodrama on her social media earlier today:

Two songs from Melodrama were already released earlier this year. First was Lorde’s comeback single- the breakup banger ‘Green Light’, which also received an accompanying music video. Not long after, the soft but powerful piano ballad ‘Liability’ was released, showcasing Lorde’s vulnerable side. She debuted her live performances of both singles earlier this year on SNL.
We also have the scoop on a few other songs on the tracklist. Lorde premiered the song ‘Sober’ at an intimate gig in Los Angeles in April, as well as an interlude that could possibly be part of ‘Sober II (Melodrama)’. The surprise gig was her first show since December 2014!
Shortly afterward, Lorde performed a set at the Coachella Music Festival in LA, where she debuted another song from Melodrama, called ‘Homemade Dynamite’. This one seems to be another upbeat tune that makes you want to dance- we can definitely see it becoming a fan favourite!

As for ‘The Louvre’, ‘Hard Feelings/Loveless’, ‘Writer In The Dark’, ‘Supercut’, ‘Liability (Reprise)’ and ‘Perfect Places’; we’ll have to wait until June 16th to hear what Lorde has up her sleeve. Many fans are already loving the new direction she seems to be taking with this album.
Melodrama is the follow-up to Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine, which was released in 2013. The album is available to preorder now.
