New Hope Club have kicked off 2019 in a big way, with the release of Permission back in February they’re now back with new single Love Again. Currently, out on tour across the UK with The Vamps, the trio is showing a matured sound on this track and their fans have already gone crazy for it in the few hours it’s been released.
Known for their guitar driven pop sound, the trio have stepped away from this simple sound instead introducing further sounds and influences into the track. One thing which hasn’t changed is their ability to write an incredibly catchy track worthy of sing-alongs whenever this track is performed live. Lyrics such as ‘go in for a kiss would you kiss me back?’ and ‘tell me you can feel that love again’ sing of the difficulties within a relationship when growing apart but when you crave being closer like before. Looking back on the band’s previous efforts including Welcome To The Club Pt.2 their sound has constantly evolved, it now seems that they’ve found the perfect formula. Love Again continues to showcase George Smith, Reece Bibby and Blake Richardson’s unique vocals which compliment each other flawlessly becoming one of the band’s signature skills. If this is a sign of what’s to come from New Hope Club, we can’t wait to continue following their journey.
Love Again marks the start of an exciting few months for this trio as their first ever UK headline tour has been announced alongside this single. Kicking off in Dublin on 21st September, the band will be playing 14 dates across the UK rounding off the tour in Liverpool. Tickets are on sale for the shows from 5PM today, head here for all the details you need. If you’re not in the UK never fear as the band have announced they will be heading on a Love Again world tour this year with shows already announced across Asia, keep your eyes on their socials for further announcements regarding US and European dates! If you’re yet to see New Hope Club live it looks like 2019 will be the opportunity to make it happen.
We can’t wait to see what other new music New Hope Club have planned and to catch them on their first headline tour later this year.
