During yesterdays (03.10.18) New York Comic Con, Warner Bro’s surprised the crowd with the first footage of the brand new, animated Harley Quinn DC series, then surprised the crowd even more when they announced who will be voicing the popular villain; none other than Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco!
The teaser features another popular female villain and a definitely not-so-subtle dig at the Marvel universe’s failure of bringing the Deadpool animation to life.
“And unlike the Deadpool cartoon, it’s actually coming out.”
Harley and her female friend also throw a little dig at the DC universe and how ‘depressing’ they are.
“I thought we were supposed to make a show that was like super gritty, and bleak, and depressing. You know, like a DC thing.”
Harley continues to express that everybody is going to have fun with the show and that it involves comedy, action and incredibly virtuous violence. There is also another special guest appearance in the trailer from Arkham’s most famous vigilante.
Kaley Cuoco is not the only Big Bang Theory star to take on the role as Harley Quinn, as her fellow cast-mate, Melissa Rauch, voiced the character in the 2017 animated movie ‘Batman and Harley Quinn.’
