Reacquaint yourself with Who’s Who in Downton Abbey

It’s not long to go now until Downton Abbey will be once again opening it’s doors and welcoming fans back, in one of the most highly anticipated movie events of the year.

The team behind Downton have released a handy little video to remind us all, just who’s who in Downton Abbey, the video is narrated by Lesley Nicol who plays Mrs Patmore. In the video we also get a sneak peek at what our favourite characters have been up to since Downton closed its doors.

Directed by Michael Engler and written by the creator of the tv show Jullian Fellowes, the film adaption of critically acclaimed, award-winning and record-breaking Downton Abbey, which ran for six series, welcomes back the original principal cast: Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael ,Jim Carter , Brendan Coyle,Michelle Dockery ,Kevin Doyle ,Joanne Froggatt,Matthew Goode ,Harry Hadden-Paton ,David Haig ,Geraldine James , Robert James-Collier ,Simon Jones ,Allen Leech , Phyllis Logan , Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera Tuppence Middleton, Stephen Campbell Moore, Lesley Nicol, Kate Phillips Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton and Penelope Wilton are all reprising their iconic roles.

The film will see the much loved Crawley family and their staff prepare for the most important moment of their lives. A royal visit from the King and Queen of England, which will unleash scandal, romance and intrigue that will leave the future of Downton hanging in the balance.
