Last month the Save Our Venues appeal was set up by Music Venue Trust with an aim of supporting concert venues across the UK who are currently closed due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
So far the crowdfunder has raised an incredible amount of support with over £1 million being donated by live music fans across the world.
But more still needs to be done to ensure these live spaces are protected throughout the current climate so that they will continue to be there for us all to enjoy, and to support rising talent when the world re-opens and it’s safe for us all to come together once again to enjoy gigs.
So, with this in mind the fundraisers are looking for new ideas to raise awareness, and one of the new ways to raise capital is in the form of live-stream concerts.
And one of the artists who will be taking to Facebook Live to support and get the word out, is US Country sweetheart and adopted Brit Sarah Darling.
Darling will be taking to her social media account tomorrow (May 10th) for a 30 minute live gig from her Nashville home. All funds will be going to the London venue LeQueCumBar.
This space has a special place in the Iowa natives heart as this is where she had her first date with now husband James Muriel.
Be sure to tune-in to Facebook tomorrow to catch Sarah Darling performing live, and to also donate and support the saveourvenues.co.uk campaign.
Are you excited for live-stream from Sarah Darling? Let us know your thoughts across social media!
