If you were around yesterday you would’ve seen that Shawn Mendes announced his new album which we wrote about here.
But, if that wasn’t already exciting enough, he has announced on Twitter today that he will be playing Madison Square Garden on September 10th!
This is such a big opportunity as it’s known for being a hugely famous arena and now we will get the chance to see Shawn take the stage there at the age of just 18. The event is a couple of weeks before the album comes out which means that we might be able to hear a little bit of it before it’s fully released.
So many huge artists have played MSG before and we cannot wait for September 10th now! Shawn has been tweeting all day with the hashtag #IlluminateMSG including a short video of him where he says “if somebody told me six months ago I’d be playing Madison Square Garden I would not believe them”
The fans all over Twitter are so proud of him and have been tweeting with the hashtag all day.
