Released on November 23, Odyssey will be a greatest hits album with a twist. The mammoth offering will include reimagined versions of 27 of Take That’s biggest hits. The band have already released a new version of their song ‘Pray’ as a taster of what’s to come. The album will also feature three new tracks, including ‘Out Of Our Heads’.
Speaking about the album, Gary Barlow said: “Some have been reworked, but without spoiling what people loved about them in the first place. You’ve got to be respectful, but at the same time, you’ve got to let the ambition of doing something new and refreshed come through as well.”
Odyssey is being released in celebration of Take That’s forthcoming 30th anniversary. To coincide with the celebrations, the trio will be heading out on a huge UK, Ireland and European tour in 2019. Due to incredible demand after selling over half a million tickets on general sale day, Take That recently added big stadium shows in Liverpool and Cardiff.
The BBC will also be airing a special documentary later this year titled Take That and Us. The hour long special will celebrate the band’s three decades in the music industry, combining exclusive previously unseen material with stories from fans across the world
