Pop singer Tiffany Young has gifted fans a new single for the holiday season titled “Peppermint.” Young describes the bilingual track as “a little bit of both naughty & nice,” with lyrics such as “…red green red green, you been waiting to unwrap me wrap me. In your arms is where I’m happy happy, underneath these lights…”
Unlike her previous two solo tracks for “Over My Skin” and “Teach You” which have a more pop sound, “Peppermint” is a laidback track ideal for anyone “who wants to chill, relax, stay in & curl up by the fireplace,” according to the artist herself.
As soon as the single dropped, the Girls’ Generation member took to social media to thank fans for their support. To show her gratitude, she announced that “Peppermint” was dedicated to her fans, whom she calls her “forevers.” The name comes from how Young’s fans have stayed with her from her Girls’ Generation days to her current solo days.
Fans can expect to see Tiffany Young in person once she embarks on her first solo North American tour in March.
