Tinashe is back with a new single called ‘Superlove’. She announced the single on all her social media accounts on July 13th and dropped the single early hours this morning. ‘Superlove’ was produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart and is a sleek 80’s inspired confection of pop that goes so smoothly before Tinashe twists it up with a rapping verse mid-song. ‘Superlove’ will easily be a summer smash, with its breezy, flowing chords and Tinashe’s incredible sweet voice.
“I have felt a strong urge recently to release a song that promotes positivity, love, and light. Superlove is a celebration of happiness. More specifically, it celebrates the kind of happiness that is so immense and infectiout, that you can’t help but to rejoice in it. I hope to eulogize this wonderful energy and make people feel good, love harder, and dance together.” Tinashe said in a press release.
Although Tinashe’s album ‘Joyride’ had gotten pushed back later on this year, the release of ‘Superlove’ is definitely a sign that Tinashe is moving closer than ever to the release of her new album, which fans have eagerly been waiting for since 2014, when her debut album ‘Aquarius’ was released.
Tinashe celebrated the release of ‘Superlove’ in ‘The Abbey’ which is a world famous gay bar in Los Angeles, last night until early hours this morning, also showing us that this is the perfect song to put out in all clubs!
