Pop artist and actor Titus Makin has released the music video for his electrifying new single, ‘Suicide’.
Directed by 17-year-old filmmaker Jake Williams, the video is a fusion of saturated colours and flashing images. As the video switches from red and blue to a grey hue, the colours metaphorically represent the feeling of toxic relationships draining the life out of us.
Speaking about the creative process behind the song, Titus, who wrote the track with Aaron Kellim, said: “It’s feeling like you can’t get a grip of anything that’s happening in your life due to being consumed by a dangerous love. We wanted the viewer to feel like they’re spinning out of control, in confusion until you can stop, find grounding, and realize what’s happening.”
The video certainly sent us spinning, however, it is eye-catching and effectively puts across the message of the song. We also love how you can feel every bit of emotion throughout Titus’ performance.

‘Suicide’ is the third single to be taken from Titus’ forthcoming EP Lean and follows on from ‘Good Love’, and the critically-acclaimed ‘Ropes’ which we’ve previously championed on CelebMix.
Alongside his flourishing music career, Titus is also a successful actor. Having previously starred in shows such as Star-Crossed, Pretty Little Liars, Glee, and NCIS, you will currently find him playing Caleb Matthews on Hulu’s The Path.
