Tom Hiddleston has officially joined Instagram! For his first post, Tom shared a photo of himself dressed as Loki, his character in the Thor movies. He has his dark long-haired wig on, while showing a ‘rock-on’ hand sign. He also captioned the photo with, “He’s back!” Within four hours, the British actor accumulated over 250,000 Instagram followers and over 42,000 likes on his photo.
Tom is currently filming Thor: Ragnarok, the third film in the franchise, at Australia’s Gold Coast. Excluding the deleted scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron, this is the first time that Hiddleston is reprising his role since the 2013 movie, Thor: The Dark World. His character is a fan-favorite because of his complex personality.
The movie will also include protagonist, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. The movie will hit theaters November 3, 2017.
Apart from Thor: Ragnarok, Hiddleston is also starring is the newest reboot of the King Kong franchise. The new movie is called Kong: Skull Island. He will star as Captain James Conrad, the leader of the explorers on the island. Kong: Skull Island hits theaters March 10, 2017.
Tom Hiddleston is surely a star to look out for, as he continues to be cast in huge franchises. There are rumors that he will be the next James Bond, but nothing is confirmed just yet.
