Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Tyler Oakley has announced his third compilation album in collaboration with the label Heard Well, fittingly called Break-Up Jams.

The album features 13 of Tyler’s favourite break-up tunes, hand picked for anyone going through a rough patch in their love life. In the album description, Tyler explains that music is the best way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, because unlike flowers and chocolate, it is a gift that lasts forever. He went on to say:

“With songs that help you articulate heartbreak, or give you the power to overcome, Break-up Jams helps you feel the feelings that keep you up at night.”

As with Tyler’s previous compilations, the tracklist will remain a mystery until the album is released. However, this time around we know of one song featured on the album: Ofelia K’s ‘Killing Me’.

To make this news even better, part of the proceeds from Break-Up Jams will be donated to Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides affordable health care services for millions across the world, specifically regarding reproductive health and sexual education. Tyler explains:

“Your purchase helps provide breast exams, pap smears, physical exams, STD testing and treatment, information and counseling about sexual and reproductive health, cancer screenings, pregnancy tests, prenatal services, and access to affordable birth control.”

Tyler’s last two compilation albums adhere to the jam theme as well. Titled Pride Jams and Holiday Jams, proceeds from both albums also support good causes- The Trevor Project and St. Jude Children’s Research Center.

You can order Break-Up Jams here. There is also an exclusive signed bundle available to purchase, which includes a signed copy of the album and a customized Break-Up Jams hat and pin.
