As of yesterday, the voting the National Television Awards (NTAs) 2019 opened, starting with the longlist.
The awards are all voted by the viewers at home, over a variety of categories. This will mark the 24th annual show and will air on 22 January 2019 on ITV, with Dermot O’Leary hosting at The O2 Arena in London. There are two stages to the voting, the first stage is the longlist, which can be found below, and the second stage is the shortlist which allows everyone to vote again at a later date, with a shorter list of nominees.
There are 14 categories including TV Judge, Talent Show, New Drama, and Factual Entertainment. Plenty of popular shows and celebrities have been nominated. The big question is whether Ant & Dec will win the TV Presenter award for the 18th time in a row, especially since Ant has taken a break from presenting this year – can someone else take the award and finally break their streak?
Voting opened yesterday. You can vote at nationaltvawards.com or just call 0844 646 2060 for a voting form. Calls cost 5p plus your network access charge.
