Her name shot into the spotlight with a guest spot on The Chainsmokers’ 2018 album, Sick Boy, that track ‘Hope’ had people wanting to hear more from that mysterious voice. With only one solo track out before that mammoth Chainsmokers collab, a cover of Haim’s ‘Don’t Save Me’, now fans (21,000 of whom already follow the rising star on Spotify) have their first full Winona Oak taste on ‘He Don’t Love Me’.
It’s a bold first release, delivered with the confidence of a seasoned professional. The Swedish singer-songwriter has already penned hits for What So Not in ‘Better’, ‘Stuck In Orbit’ and ‘Beautiful’, which she features on.
‘He Don’t Love Me’ comes with a retro feeling black-and-white music video, directed by Andreas Öhman. Dripping in melancholy, it’s a visual that pushes the 24-year-old’s artistry to the forefront. Winona Oak is something special.
