With The X Factor back on our screens, there has been no shortage of talent this year. The second week of auditions gave us a lot of singing, with some better than others, and a LOT of drama! We take a look back at our Top 5 auditions from the second week of The X Factor.

    1. Matt Terry

Not only does he have an amazing voice, but he looks quite like Louis Tomlinson! Matt Terry sang ‘Stand By Me’ and prior to his performance, he talked about a recent heartbreak he’s went through.

    2. Janet Grogan

Janet was kicked out of the brutal Six Chair Challenge two years ago by Simon. She revealed that Simon’s tweet saying that getting rid of her was a mistake was the reason she came back to audition. Janet did an incredible acoustic rendition of ‘Pillowtalk.’

    3. Marianna Zappi

After revealing that she had been in an abusive relationship in the past, Marianna Zappi sang ‘Redemption Song,’ which brought a tear to Nicole’s eye. It was a very personal song to Marianna and Simon described her performance as ‘beautiful’ and that ‘it meant something and it all feels right.’

    4. Tom and Laura

The duo sang ‘Sex on Fire’ and after they had finished singing, Simon wanted Tom to go solo, however he refused. The couple both have powerful voices, making them a perfect duo!

    5. Bradley and Ottavio

Talk about dramatic! Ottavio revealed that him and Bradley had a huge fight over uncooked chicken, and they had refused to perform together. Through the power of The X Factor, they sorted their issues and as a duo, the pair of them sang ‘Buttons’ and the pair made it through to Bootcamp!
