The xx Release Music Video For “On Hold”

English band The xx have officially released a music video for their newest single “On Hold” from their upcoming album I See You.

The video is directed by Alasdair McLellan and was filmed in Marfa, Texas, which the band calls “a very special place” because it is where they wrote and recorded part of the album.

The xx shared a message on Instagram:

“We have a lot of love and respect for the people of the USA, having played hundreds of shows across the country over the past years. We hope this video reflects just some of the warmth and acceptance we have encountered there.”

The xx is currently on tour, making stops in Poland, Japan, Sweden and various other countries.
