Ally Brooke has united with Latin-trap star Messiah to release a bilingual track called ‘500 Veces’, available now via Latium Entertainment/Atlantic Records.
Produced by Isaac Valens & Dawin, ‘500 Veces’ is a sizzling collaboration which pays tribute to Ally’s Mexican-American heritage. This is the second time that Ally and Messiah have collaborated, having previously appeared together on Kris Kross Amsterdam’s ‘Vámonos’.
Speaking about the track, Ally told E! “It’s my first single in Spanish—well it’s Spanglish—but because I’m Mexican-American, I’m so proud to finally have a single that shows my heritage and that makes my family proud, makes me proud and shows my Latin vibes.”
“It’s a fun, flirty, kind of Latin song and Messiah is amazing on it,” she continues. “It’s [our] second collaboration together and we hope to bring a lot of heat and a lot of our flavor to this record and show it with pride to the world. I can’t wait for my fans to hear.”
‘500 Veces’ comes accompanied by a striking music video. Directed by Michael Garcia, the visual was shot earlier this month in the deserted outskirts of Los Angeles.
‘500 Veces’ is the latest in a string of singles from Ally, including promotional track ‘Fabulous’, the incredible single ‘No Good’ and collaborations ‘All Night’ with Afrojack and ‘Like You Do’ with Florian Picasso and Gashi.
Along with working on new music, Ally has been busy putting the finishing touches on her first book and memoir, Finding Your Harmony. Due for release this October via Dey Street Books/Harper Collins, Finding Your Harmony will explore Ally’s journey to fame, whilst detailing how she remained true to herself during each high and low.
‘500 Veces’ is available to download and stream now.
